Your darkroom, on your Mac. Granit for Mac imports, culls and edits your images, from JPEG to RAW, and every edit lands straight away in your catalogue, your portfolio and your private projects.
Import and cull in minutes
Drag a folder and it becomes a collection. Watched folders send every new file on their own. Above ten files, a culling table opens: ratings from 1 to 5, P to pick, X to reject, bursts grouped. Ratings set in Lightroom, Capture One or in camera are picked up.
Edit everything, RAW included
JPEG, HEIC or RAW: light, per-channel curves, colour mixer, colour grading, texture, clarity, dehaze, grain, all measured against Camera Raw. Your RAW files are also developed on your machine, in 16-bit: white balance, noise reduction, lens correction. The original is never touched.
The Remove tool wipes out a dust spot or a passer-by, by healing or cloning, with no generative AI. Auto straighten reads the lines in the image. And Auto learns from your own edits on similar images.
Your looks, film’s looks and the ones you already had
24 film-inspired looks, from Kodak Portra 400 to Ilford HP5 Plus, and the Fujifilm simulations, from Classic Chrome to Nostalgic Neg. Import your Lightroom presets, creative profiles (RNI, VSCO…) and .cube LUTs too: it all lives in one library, as thumbnails, dosable from 0 to 200 % and kept on your account.
Built for film
Scanned negative inversion and orange mask removal. For each collection: film stock, camera, lab, scanner, push and pull worked out for you. Granit warns you when two film stocks get mixed.
