These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Granit platform, available from granit.app and its subdomains. If the French and English versions diverge, the French version prevails unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Article 1 - Definitions

“Granit” means the platform for creating, managing and publishing online portfolios. “User” means anyone with an account or accessing the services. “Content” means photographs, videos, text, metadata, files and other materials uploaded or published by the user. “Portfolio” means the public or private space generated through Granit.

Article 2 - Service purpose

Granit enables users to create professional portfolios, organise visual media, publish series, use private galleries, manage client deliveries and access technical services for storage, optimisation and delivery of content.

Article 3 - User account

Creating an account requires accurate information, a valid email address and acceptance of these Terms. The user is responsible for keeping credentials confidential, for activity performed from the account and for keeping account information up to date.

Article 4 - Content and intellectual property

The user retains ownership of their content. The user grants Granit a non-exclusive, limited licence necessary to host, display, optimise, back up, deliver and technically operate the service. The user warrants having all necessary rights to published content, including copyright, image rights and third-party permissions.

Article 5 - Prohibited content

Illegal, hateful, violent, discriminatory, defamatory or privacy-infringing content is prohibited, as is content violating third-party rights, involving minors in a sexual context, spreading malware, spam or phishing. Granit may remove content, limit access or suspend an account in case of a clear violation.

Article 6 - Subdomains and publication

Users may receive an identifier or subdomain, subject to availability and compliance. Granit may refuse, modify or withdraw an identifier in case of impersonation, trademark conflict, third-party rights infringement, abusive use or prolonged inactivity according to the applicable service rules.

Article 7 - Subscriptions and payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation and refund conditions are specified in the General Terms of Sale and during checkout. Payments may be processed by Stripe or another identified provider.

Article 8 - Storage, quotas and fair use

Plans may include defined storage, bandwidth or feature capacities. The user agrees to use Granit as a creative portfolio and delivery platform, not as a general backup service, third-party CDN, mass automated hosting system or capacity resale service. Granit may contact the user in case of abnormal usage to regularise the situation.

Article 9 - Automated and AI features

Granit may provide automated features, including media analysis, enrichment or organisation. Where technical providers are involved, relevant information is described in the privacy policy or service settings. The user remains responsible for reviewing automatically generated outputs.

Article 10 - Availability and security

Granit uses reasonable means to support service availability, security and backups. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, incidents, technical changes, force majeure or provider intervention. Users should keep copies of their original files.

Article 11 - Personal data

Processing of personal data is described in Granit's Privacy Policy, including purposes, legal bases, processors, retention periods and rights of data subjects.

Article 12 - Termination and deletion

Users may request account deletion or cancel subscriptions through the interface or by contacting Granit. Granit may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, breach of these Terms, security risk, abuse or legal obligation. Consequences for content and data are described in the applicable policies.

Article 13 - Liability

Granit is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. Granit does not guarantee total absence of errors, suitability for every specific use or commercial outcomes from portfolio visibility. Granit's liability is limited to proven direct damages and the limits allowed by applicable law.

Article 14 - Changes to the Terms

Granit may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, regulations or organisation. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, subject to mandatory user rights.
